CHURUBUSCO — Alexis Harvey ran a career-best 25.06, setting the Bellmont mark by .34 of a second, winning the 200-meter event with what may be the fastest time recorded in Indiana this spring, in winning the blue in the Turtle Town Classic Saturday at Churubusco.
Harvey, who finished second in the 100 meter dash with a 12.45, had the only first for Bellmont, which finished seventh in the 12-team Gold Division.
FORT WAYNE—A 14-team Concordia Invitational at Foster Park Golf Course Saturday turned into a two-team horse race with sixth-ranked Norwell rallying on the back nine to fashion a 291-309 win over Bellmont.
The Braves led by one at the turn but sub-par rounds from McCormick Clouser and Ross Matthews from Norwell turned the tide to the Knight's favor. Clouser fired a sparkling 67 with Matthews just one behind him at 68.
