KENDALLVILLE — East Noble outscored Bellmont 23-13 over the final five minutes of the game Monday night and captured a Northeast Hoosier Conference game over the Braves, 56-44.
The Knights used an unexpected 21-point performance from Kyle Reece which came in handy as Bellmont shut down the main offensive threat from EN, T. J. Blair with only four points. Reece hit six straight shots at one point over the second and third period including a pair of treys.
The Adams Central Team Regional, postponed from last Wednesday because of the snowstorm, will take place tomorrow, starting at 6 p.m. and Bellmont and Yorktown remain on a collision course.
The fifth-rated Tigers, after a strong showing at the Jay Regional Saturday, will meet the No. 9 Braves, also off an impressive performance Saturday at Jay. In the other semi-final, 15-8 Fort Wayne Snider will take on No. 8 Carroll.
