"The super dual at Calumet is very good, but this one is definitely one of the very best, with six out of the eight ranked. You can't get much tougher," stated Bellmont coach Brent Faurote on Saturday's annual wrestling feast, the Bellmont Super Dual.
Bellmont can complete a perfect NHC season tonight as the Braves travel to Homestead.
The host Spartans are 4-2 in the NHC and 11-5 overall. Bellmont enters 16-2 and 6-0 in the league. Carroll is 5-1 in the NHC and could still be co-champions of the regular season if Bellmont falls to the Spartans. Bellmont has lost only one NHC match since the conference was formed in 1989.

"We told the kids at the start of the year that there would be adversity, we just didn't know where. As it turns out it comes with the injury to Brooks. We were the team to beat, it just didn't happen," stated veteran Bellmont assistant coach Tim Myers after the Al Smith Classic last week at Mishawaka.
Bellmont, with nine placers and three making to the finals, led most of the way, but yeilded in the end to Penn by three points.
The junior varsity game will begin at 6 p.m. tonight at the Stardome as Bellmont travels to South Adams for boys basketball action.
No frosh game is scheduled.
Bellmont will take a 3-3 record into the contest after the recent win over Adams Central. The Starfires are 2-5.
School officials note that the Bank of Geneva will conduct a $100 shooting contest at halftime of the varsity game.
