Stars snap four-game skid, handle Parkway with ease

December 21, 2011

BERNE—The Starfire boys hosted buckeye state foe, Parkway, on Tuesday night and came away with a solid 57-42 victory over the Panthers to improve their record to 3-4 on the season.
After starting the season 2-0, the South Adams Starfires had lost their last four games including ugly losses to Jay County and Bluffton before finding their stride in a close loss at home to Heritage last week. Against Parkway, the Stars shot the ball very well at 49% for the game and 70% from the free throw line.
