MONROE—Adams Central ripped through the warm water of the AC pool Thursday night to post a pair of lopsided wins over Coldwater with the boys demolishing their opponent 148-18 and the girls won via a 103-65 tally.

BERNE— For the first time in a span of about a season and a half, 24 games to be exact, the Lady Starfires of South Adams won a basketball game, and they did it in dominating fashion over the Muncie Burris Lady Owls, 56-39.
Coach Ryan Cunningham, now 1-5, paced the sidelines for most of the game grumbling about the turnovers in the game, and with good reason. His team had 32 of them.
The good news for SA was that Burris had 47.
