The ACAC All-Conference football teams were released today with three-peat ACAC champion Leo Lions leading the way with six members on the first team. The Starfires of South Adams had five members on the first team, while Garrett and Heritage each had four. Adams Central, Bluffton, and Woodlan added two from their squads.
BERNE—Two nearly identical scores were posted in swim matches between county rivals Adams Central and South Adams Tuesday night at the SA pool with the Adams Central boys team earning a 111-61 triumph while the South Adams girls raced to a 109-60 victory.
In the win for the AC boys, Gavin Kaehr recorded two new Adams Central school records in the meet. Kaehr notched a 2:18.40 swim in the 200 IM to win that race by over eight seconds. He had respective splits of :26.85, :35.63, :42.73, and :33.19 for his new mark.
