Coming off an outstanding offensive performance at Blackford, Bellmont will be back at Bob Worthman Stadium Friday night in round two of the 3A football playoffs as they take on 6-4 Yorktown Tigers, who are fresh off of their 38-24 upset win over sectional favorite Eastbrook.
"Every time you get to the next round of competition it's good," stated first-year BHS coach Larry Getts.
The Decatur T-Birds baseball squad have one goal in mind: get to Cooperstown in 2013.
They plan on getting there with fund raisers at their booth on Halloween night during the Callithumpian parade.
T-Birds manager John Macklin is encouraging the public to stop by the booth for “walking tacos” and drinks all night Monday to help the boys get to the Baseball Hall of Fame next year.
