A last period charge by the Bellmont Squaws Tuesday night fell just short as a strong Concordia Cadet team escaped from the Teepee with a 42-38 non-conference girls basketball victory.
The South Adams boys won all 12 blue ribbons in a 130-55 win at Adams Central Tuesday, while the SA girls made it a sweep, winning eight of 12, in a 107-78 victory over the Lady Jets.
Caleb Wurster won the 200 IM and the 500 free, and Cole Farlow took the 100 and 50 freestyle events, and both were on a pair of winning relay teams to lead the victory.
