Linda D. Wietfeldt, 55, of Monroe, died Tuesday at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana following a lengthy illness.
Among survivors are her husband, Donald G. Wietfeldt; mother, Aletha “Jo” Hale; two sons, Roger (Jennifer) Hale and Scottie (Janet) Fox, both of Decatur; one daughter, Melinda “Mindy” (Ryan) Arnold of Decatur; three step-sons; three step-daughters; 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Cyndi Parsons and Candy Harris, both of Monroe.
Wanita Cable, 85, Decatur, passed away Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Delbert and Catherine (Banning) Thatcher.
She married the late Norbert D. Cable Sept. 29, 1946, in Monmouth; he passed away Aug. 9, 2003.
Wanita had worked at Automatic Sprinkler in Monroe for 26 years.
Helen Pauline Shinabery, 93, Rockford, Ohio, died at 10:30 p.m., Saturday at VanCrest Health Care Center, Van Wert.
She was born July 29, 1921, in Ohio City to the late Peter W. and Loretta Louetta (Rayer) Wiseman.
On Oct. 17, 1941, she married Darlene M. Shinabery; he preceded her in death Dec.17, 1993.
Wanita Cable, 85, Decatur, died Saturday at Adams Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are pending at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
Mary Lucille (Mary Lou) Birdsall, 85, Berne, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014.
Among survivors are four children, Connie (Neil) Potter of Berne; Douglas (Jeanie) Birdsall of South Hamilton, Mass.; Brent (Sadie) Birdsall of Burnsville, Minn.; and Brian (Cathy) Birdsall of New York City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swiss Village Chapel, with her sons officiating. Burial will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington, with graveside services at 1:30 p.m.
Marie L. Bradtmueller, 81, Hoagland, passed away at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Ossian Health Care Center.
She married the late Wilbert Bradtmueller Oct. 10, 1953, in Zion Lutheran Church-Friedheim; he passed away on Oct. 27, 2004.
Keith Hofstetter, 88, Berne, passed away Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at Swiss Village.
Among survivors are his wife, Jane Hofstetter of Berne; daughter, Karen Burke of Bluffton; sons, Kevin (Rhonda) Hofstetter of Melbourne, Fla. and Rod (Tammi) Hofstetter of Tipton; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Swiss Village Retirement Center, with Pastor Chris Thurow officiating. Internment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery, Geneva.
Jessica A. Lehman, 29, Berne, passed away Aug. 15, 2014, at her residence.
Survivors include her parents, Jim and Bertie Lehman; sisters, Krista M. (Keith) Brunstrup of Monroe and Melissa R. (Justin) Gillette of Goshen; and brother, Hunter J. Lehman at home.
Funeral services were held this morning at First Mennonite Church, Berne. Officiating were Rev. Jerry Flueckiger and Rev. Anita Rediger. Burial was in MRE Cemetery.

Steven N. Schwartz, infant son of Noah M.R. and Adeline E.L. Schwartz of Monroe, was stillborn Friday.
Surviving in addition to the parents are four brothers, Mervin, David, Kenneth and Matthew; and two sisters, Miriam and Lorene, all at home. Also surviving are grandparents Elmer D. and Emma Schwartz of Monroe and Melvin F. and Rebecca Schwartz of Geneva.
Burial was in Winchester Cemetery.
