Gilbert O. "Gillie" Hoffman, 89, a rural Hoagland resident since 1945, died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday at his residence.
He was born on December 26, 1920, in Adams County to Victor and Pauline Bieberich Hoffman.
He married Florence L. Aumann on June 17, 1945, in St. John Lutheran Church at Bingen and she survives.
He was involved in the wire-drawing die industry for 68 years, including Hoosier and Heritage Wire Die, along with others. He also enjoyed farming for 59 years.
Julie A. Johnson, 51, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Decatur, died at her brother’s residence in Bluffton on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
Julie was born on March 8, 1959, in Decatur to Richard L. and Josephine A. (McBride) Jackson.
Julie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anchorage. She worked as a travel agent for Sato Travel in Anchorage.
Rosalie McLaughlin, 88, rural Portland, died Wednesday in Jay County Hospital at Portland. She was a former administrator of that facility.
She was born to Frank and Gladys Benedict Rody.
Among survivors are two sons, Bruce and Bryce McLaughlin of Portland, and one daughter, Sue McLaughlin of Decatur.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Baird-Freeman Funeral Home, Portland, with burial in Green Park Cemetery at Portland. Visiting hours are 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
Arnold O. Schueler, 89, of Ossian, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Ossian Health Care.
He was born on April 22, 1921, in Wells County to Otto and Frieda (Prange) Schueler.
He was the former owner of A & E Schueler Supply, farmed, and drove school bus. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Dorathea Hoffman, 82, of Decatur, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community. She had been in the nursing center for three years.
She was born on April 10, 1928, in Fort Wayne to Herman and Bertha Scheumann Moellering.
She married Werner E. Hoffman on June 4, 1949, in Zion Lutheran Church (Friedheim); he passed away on May 31, 2004.
Julie Johnson, 51, of Bluffton, a former Decatur resident, died Wednesday at home,

Harold J. “Lucky” Siefring, 81, of rural Decatur, died on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
Harold was born on December 5, 1928, in Sharpsburg, Ohio, to John J. and Rose (Kramer) Siefring.
On August 23, 1950, he married Pauline M. Phlipot.
Ruby Shelton Swickard, 89, retired elementary teacher for Muncie Community Schools, died November 8.
She began her teaching career in North Adams Schools, 1954-1969, before moving to Muncie.
A free-lance writer who had over 300 articles published, she was a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash Award in 2003 from Gov. Frank O'Bannon, given for her lifetime commitment to education, writing and outreach to the community.
Dorathea Hoffman, 82, of Decatur, died on Tuesday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community. Funeral arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
Joseph L. Hough, 70, of Bryant, passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at his residence, with family by his side.
He was born on Friday, June 21, 1940, in Adams County to Rev. Burley Hough and Hulda (Kessler) Hough.
Joseph was married to Kathy Zerby, who survives.
Joseph worked at General Electric for 25 years and at Geneva Manufacturing for 10 years. He was a lifelong farmer and horse grower.
