The obituary notice in Tuesday's edition incorrectly listed the wrong middle initial for Rhonda E. Higginbotham, 51, of Fort Wayne, who died on Sunday.
R. Madeleine Youse Houk, 93, died Tuesday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
Charles F. "Chuck" Schelsky Jr., 75, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, died at home on May 11.
He was born to Charles F. Schelsky Sr. and Dorothy Poor-Schelsky.
Among survivors are his wife, the former Janice Kreischer of Decatur, and two daughters, Mrs. Chris (Shelli) Shoaf of Decatur and Mrs. Brian (Tammy) Huckaby.
Funeral services were held Sunday in Stillwater.
Maxine Mae Beery, 90, of Decatur, died at 9:55 p.m. Sunday at her residence.
She was born on February 12, 1921, in Fort Wayne to Earl and Inez Summers Smitley.
She married Lewis E. Beery, who preceded her on death on March 8, 1998.
Rhonda F. Higginbotham, 51, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Sunday in New Haven Care and Rehabilitation.
She was born to James and Janice Gray Imel.
Among survivors are her father, of Middletown, Indiana; her husband, Howard D. Higginbotham of Fort Wayne; and three daughters,Amy Higginbotham of Decatur and Mrs. Matt (Elizabeth) Wolber and Mrs. Eduardo (Melissa) Martinez of Fort Wayne.
Drake Thomas Hill, 21, of Wren, Ohio, died Friday night following a traffic accident on Piqua Rd. near State Rd. 101 in Adams County.
He was born on August 17, 1989, on Decatur. His father is Thomas J. Hill (and fiance Jaime Zimmerman) of Monroe and his mother is the former Tonya J. Hirschy, now Mrs. Jeff Hoffman of Bluffton.
Sister Margaret Rose Donnelly, SSND, 76, of Decatur, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born Barbara Ann Donnelly on September 14, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, into the Irish-Catholic home of the late William Thomas and Margaret (Robine) Donnelly.
Charles A. "Butch" Fisher, 68, of Decatur, died at his residence on Thursday, May 12, 2011.
Charles was born in Decatur on April 9, 1943, to Homer and Agnes (Garner) Fisher, who are deceased.
Charles was a self-employed barber, working in the Westland Mall at Fort Wayne. He attended Common Ground Church in Decatur and was a member of the American Legion Post 43 in Decatur.
Virgil D. Henschen, 98, of Wakarusa, Indiana, died Wednesday at home.
He was born in Decatur on April 2, 1913, to Charles and Elta C. Ginter Henschen.
Among survivors are his second wife, Bessie. His first wife, Ruth, died on November 28, 1992.
Other survivors are a son, Gene Henschen of Nappanee; two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Sandra) Loucks of Nappanee and Mrs. Bill (Karen) Jessup of Goshen; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Phil (Linda) Nusbaum of Elkhart.
Olive M. Morrison, 86, of New Haven, a former longtime Decatur resident, died at 8:40 a.m. Thursday in the residence of granddaughter Dana Morrison in New Haven, where she had lived for the past year.
She was born in Willshire Township of Van Wert County, Ohio.
She married Charles W. Morrison on May 12, 1943, in Wren, Ohio; passed away in December of 1996.
She worked at the former General Electric Co. plant in Decatur during World War II and was a homemaker most of her life.
