Jerry D. Feasby Sr.

    Jerry D. Feasby Sr., 68, of Monroeville, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Vibra Hospital in Fort Wayne following an illness of three weeks.
    He was born on December 3, 1943, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to Willis K. and Mrytle M. Baker Feasby, who are deceased.
    He married Sharon S. Putman on August 6, 1983, in Monroeville; she survives.

Mary K. Grabner

    Mary Kathryn Grabner, 90, a lifelong resident of Monroeville, died at 3:10 a.m. Thursday in her residence following an illness of six months.
    She was born on October 30, 1921, in Monroeville to Clarence J. and Elizabeth C. Westrick Beauchot.
    She married Donald D. Grabner on July 28, 1945, in Fredericksburg, Virginia; he survives. They celebrated 66 years of marriage this year.
    Mary was secretary-treasurer of the Monroeville School for 22 years, from 1959 to 1981.

Deloris McCagg

    Deloris McCagg, 91, a former longtime resident of Decatur, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in New Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center, where she had resided since 1999. 
    She was a former member of Decatur Missionary Church.
    Surviving are one son, Jerry Lee McCagg (and wife Carol) of Fort Wayne; one brother, Waynard Habegger of Decatur; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Herman C. Linnemeier

    Herman C. Linnemeier, 90, of rural Decatur, died Tuesday in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home at Fort Wayne.
    He was born on October 17, 1921, to Edward and Nora Thiele Linnemeier.
    Among survivors are his wife, Ruth, to whom he was married for 70 years; a son, Eugene A. Linnemeier of Decatur; and a daughter, Mrs. Ken (Karen S.) Short of Fort Wayne.

Billie Wheeler

    Billie "Bill" Wheeler, 84, of rural Columbia City, died Tuesday in Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
    He was born to Melvin C. and Jessie Blondine Wheeler.
    Among survivors are his wife, Rosemary; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Sheryl) Schrader and Mrs. Michael (Marsha) Gradeless of Columbia City; and a son, Dane Wheeler of Decatur.

Walter D. Case

    Walter D. “Kielbasa” Case, age 52, of Decatur, formerly of Adrian, Michigan, passed away on December 10, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on June 26, 1959, in Adrian, the son of William and Rose (Martin) Case.
    Walter was a 1977 graduate of Adrian High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Adrian.

Thomas W. Dailey

    Thomas William Dailey, 66, of rural Berne, died at 1:26 a.m. Monday in Parkview Hospital at Fort Wayne.
    He was born on January 15, 1945, in Willshire, Ohio, to Stanton R. and Margaret Brandt Dailey.
    Thomas worked for Decatur Casting for 10 years and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Decatur.

Nichole J. Summersett

    Nichole J. "Nikki" Summersett, 29, of Berne, died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday at her residence.
    She was born on September 17, 1982, in Adams County to Steven and Penny Liechty Haines, who live in Berne.
    She married Jeff Summersett on October 20, 2007; he survives.
    She was a graduate of South Adams High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University's School of Nursing at Marion, Indiana.

Mildred R. Elliott

December 7, 2011

    Mildred R. Elliott, 94, of Decatur, died at her residence on Monday, December 5, 2011.
    She was a daughter of Edward L. and Maude M. Kurt Johnson, born in Decatur on June 27, 1917.
    On December 3, 1934, she married Carl W. Elliott, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1979.
    Mildred was a homemaker who also worked at the Bag Service company in Decatur and in a local laundramat. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur.

    Mildred R. Elliott, 94, of Decatur, died at home on Monday.
    Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
