    Mary Ann Murray, 68, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014. 
    She was born April 10, 1946, in Decatur, to Robert and Doris Kirk Holthouse. 
    Mary was a resident of Okeechobee, Fla. since 1985. She was a teacher for 34 years, 26 of which were in Okeechobee. Mary was a member of the Church of Our Saviour, Delta Kappa Gamma and Retired Teachers Association. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzles.

    Lauren Rose Dyer, Decatur, was stillborn Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at DuPont Hospital in Fort Wayne.
    Lauren’s parents, Matt and Abby (Murray) Dyer of Decatur, are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur.

    Helen C. Scheiner, Decatur, passed peacefully Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Adams Heritage in Monroeville, surrounded by family and friends, after 96 years of life on the farm.
    She was born July 2, 1917, in Decatur to the late Victor L. and Anna L. (Hackman) Ulman.
    She married Oscar J. Scheiner, the love of her life, Oct. 24, 1952; he passed away March 5, 1991.

    Roxann (Feasel) Mann, 64, Fort Pierce, Fla., died unexpectedly April 27, 2014.
    She was born in Decatur Jan. 1, 1950, to the late Leo and Betty Feasel Sr.
  She married John Mann April 24, 1968; he survives.
  Roxann grew up in Decatur. She graduated from Bellmont High School in 1968. She was a graduate of IRSC. Roxann was an accountant and owned her own business for 25 year and actually enjoyed tax season.

Betty J. Pond

    Betty J. Pond, 87, Celina, Ohio, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014.
    She was born July 1, 1926, in Decatur to the late Orval R. and Goldie (Burkhead) Roop.
    Betty married Robert Pond Jan. 22, 1949; he survives.
    She attended Decatur High School and was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Celina.

    Geneva Garnet Brown, 94, Decatur, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Adams Woodcrest in Decatur.
    She was born Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1920, in Switzerland County, the daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Bromwell) Bennett. 
    She married David Earl Brown Oct. 15, 1937, in Switzerland County; he passed away June 27, 1984.

    Charlotte L. Webb Weimer, 86, Berne, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2014, at Chalet Village in Berne.
    Surviving are three daughters, Kay Arnold and Joy (Eric) Glidewell, both of Berne and Cosy Luke (Jerry) Watschke of Hackensack, Minn.; a brother, Don (Margaret Ann) Harsha of Berne; a sister, Shirley (Don) Richwine of Bluffton; a step-daughter, Rosie (Al) Farlow of Geneva; and a step-son, Larry (JoLyn) Webb of Longmont, Colo.

    Roberta Jean "Berta" Witte, 54, Ohio City, Ohio, passed away at 4:08 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
    Berta was born Thursday, Sept. 24, 1959, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ivan Charles and Jessie Marie (Cousino) Eckhart. 
    She married Robert "Rob" Witte May 18, 1991; he survives.

    Shirley M. Augsburger, 85, Berne, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Swiss Village in Berne.
    Surviving are three daughters, Sue (David) Collins of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sally (Roland) DeRenzo of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Pam (Lonnie) Evans of Alpharetta, Ga.; five grandchilden, Micah (Shante) Collins, Chris DeRenzo, Michelle (Jeremy) Soronen, Alex Evans and Hannah Evans; four great-grandchildren, Elijah, Gideon, Ezekiel and Judah Collins; and two sisters, Helen Augsburger of Berne and JoAn Burmeister of Chokio, Minn.
