John E. Isch, 71, of Decatur, passed away on January 4, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
John was born on January 26, 1939, in Adams County, Indiana, to Ralph Isch and Opal (Walters) Isch Lillich.
On October 26, 1958, he married Lois J. Archinal.
John was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Decatur and served on many boards of the church. He was active in Big Brothers, was the community service supervisor for the Adams County Jail, and was an avid golfer.

E. Ann Blaney, 77, a longtime Decatur resident, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford, Ohio.
Ann was born on June 9, 1933, to Edward and Helen (Smith) Fisher.
On June 21, 1958, she married Bob Blaney; he passed away on April 1, 2008.
Ann retired from teaching in 1992 from North Adams Community Schools after 33 years.
G. David Gerth, 82, of Laguna Beach, California, died in a nursing home there on Wednesday.
Among survivors is a daughter, Mrs. David (Deborah) Miller of Hoagland, and a son, Douglas Gerth of Anaheim, California.
Arrangements are pending in California.
Robert T. Helm, 92, of Decatur, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday in Parkview Hospital at Fort Wayne.
He married Rosali P. Miller; she passed away on May 25, 2003.
He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and American Legion Post 43, both in Decatur, and was an avid golfer.
During World War II, he served in the United States Army Air Corps.
Paul M. "Plug" Herman, 90, of Cloquet, Minnesota, a former resident of and business owner in Berne, died Friday in Duluth, Minnesota.
He was born to Mentor and Ramola Herman.
Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Connie) Allen of Naples, Florida, and two sons, Mike Herman of Friendswood, Texas, and Ken Herman of Cloquet.
Dorothy L. “Dottie” Lynn, 68, St. Marys, Ohio, died Friday at home.
She was born in Decatur to Arthur and Faye (Martin) Scheiderer. She married Charles Lynn, who survives.
She is also survived by four children, Amy (David) Winner of Defiance, Ohio; Douglas (Melissa) Lynn of Fort Wayne; Betsy (Eric) Schurg of Woodburn; Brian Lynn of Marion, Indiana. Also surviving are two sisters.
Ann Mankey, 84, of Decatur, died at 2:58 a.m. Thursday in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne.
She was born on April 26, 1926, in Munich, Germany to Klements Wechs and Anna Maria Greindl Burger Wechs.
She married Glen E. Mankey on August 3, 1948; he died on February 2, 1983. Ann was a World War II bride.
She was a homemaker and also worked for Dr. Harold Zwick and wife Helen and for Dr. H.S. Lee and wife Antoinette.
Thelma M. Ritchie, 89, of Geneva, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
She was born on Sunday, February 13, 1921, in Fairmount to Murl and Minnie Reiman Nelson
Mrs. Ritchie was a homemaker and a farmer. She also retired from Kerr Glass at Dunkirk.
She formally attended Church Of Christ South Side at Portland.
