Mattie Wickey, 97, of rural Berne, died Wednesday at home.
Among survivors are a son, David N. Wickey of rural Berne, and five daughters,Mrs. Joe (Maryann L.) Hilty of rural Monroe; Mrs. Mose E. (Christine) Schmidt of rural Salem; Josephine Schwartz of rural Milroy, Indiana; and Mrs. Jake B. (Mattie) Schwartz and Mrs. Jonas (Mandy) Schwartz of rural Berne.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Jonas Schwartz home, 2828 W. County Rd. 500 South, with burial in Schwartz Cemetery, rural Monroe.
Marian Lucille (Sprunger) Zuercher, 88, a resident of Berne, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on April 12, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
She was born on April 12, 1923, in Woodburn, Indiana, the youngest child of Alvin and Sylvia (Lochner) Sprunger. At three years of age she was orphaned and was subsequently reared by Hiram and Rufina (Liechty) Sprunger of Berne, cousins of her father.
On April 8, 1944, she married Christian Walter Zuercher, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2001.

Information provided for the obituary of Francis J. Geels, 86, of Decatur, who died on Monday, omitted the name of a deceased brother: George Frederick "Fred" Geels.
M. Lucille Zuercher, 88, of Berne, died Tuesday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.

Larry W. Davis Sr., 66, of Decatur, died at 12:25 a.m. Monday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born to Ivan L. Davis Sr. and Waneta I. McKean Davis. His father is deceased; his mother lives in Decatur.
Larry had been employed by General Electric Corp., with 32 years of service, and had also worked parttime at Decatur Cemetery and Adams Memorial Hospital.
Francis J. Geels, 86, of Decatur, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at his residence.
He was born on March 1, 1925, in Adams County to John and Dorothy (Steigmeyer) Geels.
He married Nonna C. Kline on April 30, 1947; she passed away on April 3, 2010.
Mirena E. Kopacz, 92, of Decatur, passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011, at The Village of Heritage nursing home in Monroeville.
She was born on August 29, 1918, in Pisa, Italy, to Quadrio and Edwiga Moggia.
She married Joseph J. Kopacz on April 19, 1951; he passed away on September 4, 1994.
Eli S. Sprunger, 92, a resident of Berne, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2011, in Swiss Village Retirement Community.
Eli was born on April 22, 1918, in Adams County, the son of Emil and Matilda (Hirschy) Sprunger.
He married Audrey Crosby and she preceded him in death. He then married Clara Steury Matchett and she preceded him in death in 2010.

Larry W. Davis, Sr., 66, Decatur, died Sunday evening in Adams Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
Edith M. Green, 93, a longtime resident of Monroe who moved to El Paso, Texas, a year ago, died in her residence at 9:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 3.
She was born on January 30, 1918, in Decatur to Harry O. and Ruth B. Baltzell Williams.
She married Frank L. Green on February 9, 1946, in Fort Wayne. He passed away on May 8, 1998.
She was a homemaker who did volunteer work at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne for 33 years.
