Mary L. Gould, 84, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013, in Van Wert County Hospital.
Mary was born on October 30, 1928, in Wells County to the late Forrest and Nettie (Frauhiger) Mankey.
On April 10, 1948, she married Sherman R. Gould; he preceded her in death in May 2006.
Mary was a former member of First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Women of the Moose 1311.

Mary M. Beer, 93, of Berne, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Swiss Village.
She was born to the late Melvin and Lavina (Beitler) Diehl on July 19, 1919, in Adams County.
She married Kenneth Beer on December 1, 1940; he survives in Berne.
Mary was a member of the Cross Community Church and co-owner of Dewbrook Farms. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, bird watching, and cooking.

Margaret Pauline Helsel, 87, of Seattle, Wash., passed away at 10:30 a.m Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Foss Home & Village in Seattle.
Margaret was born on Sunday, April 25, 1926, in Decatur, to the late Wilbur and Mable (Burkhardt) Hawkins.
She married Marvin P. Helsel, Sr., on August 25, 1947, in Decatur; he survives in Seattle.
Ivan Wyer, 87, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away at 7:56 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Van Wert Hospice in Van Wert, Ohio.
Ivan married Joan Newlin on February 15, 1947, in Willshire; she survives in Willshire.
He served as Second District Commander and Assistant Sergeant of Arms for the Department of Ohio. Beginning in 1943, Ivan served his country in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II and during the Korean Conflict.

R’Lene R. Fletcher, 89, of Decatur, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
R’Lene was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 22, 1923, to the late Harry A. and Irene M. (Schneider) Coe.
On June 4, 1948, she married James C. Fletcher; he preceded her in death on October 4, 2009.
R’Lene was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and former advisor to the Rainbow Girls. She was a homemaker.
Dwight F. Girod, 90, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Decatur, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital.
Dwight was born in Adams County on April 3, 1923, to the late Milton and Emma (Firks) Girod.
On June 21, 1953, he married Jane Maddox; she survives in Fort Wayne.
Treva B. Lehman, 94, of Berne, died Saturday at Bluffton Regional Center.
Among survivors are two sons, Ernest Lehman, Jr., of South Bend and Wayne (Denise) Lehman of Fort Wayne, and "Forever Daughter" Arlene Lehman of Niles, Mich.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in MRE Cemetery, Berne.

Pauline Selking, 91, of Decatur, passed away at 5 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Pauline was born on Friday, July 1, 1921, in Edgerton, Ohio, to the late Elmer A. and Julia F. (Zeigler) Edwards.
She married Robert Louis Selking on April 29, 1940, in New Haven; he passed away in 1984.
Virginia Ilene Elder, 82, of Plymouth, Ind., passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, at her residence.
Virginia was born in Portland on April 30, 1931, to the late Merle and Anna (McFarland) Smiley.
She married Donald Elder, who survives.
