Nicholas “Big Nick” Maurice Crickmore, 64, Decatur, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at his residence. Nick was born in Allen County July 13, 1950, to the late Kenneth and Wanda (Mitchell) Crickmore. On Sept. 8, 2007, he married Sarah E. Newby Longsworth; She survives.
Hazel A. Foor, 101, Decatur, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Adams Woodcrest. She was born in Allen County Dec. 5, 1912, to the late Lafayette and Mary (Gable) Fry. On Dec. 16, 1933, she married Wilbur W. Foor; he preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1992.
Genoveva Hernandez Garcia, 77, Decatur, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Mexico Feb. 3, 1937, to Jesus Hernandez-Villanueva and Maria Concepcion Arriza-Mata. On Sept. 26, 1954, she married Arnulfo V. Garcia. He preceded her in death Jan. 13, 2014.
Garcia was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and a homemaker. Arnulfo and Genoveva co-owned and operated La Gloria Mexican store on Elm St. in Decatur for 15 years.

Paul A. Phillips, 44, Decatur, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, at Adams Memorial Hospital. Paul was born in Huntington May 14, 1970, to the late Thomas E. and Carol A. (Craig) Phillips. He married Susan A. Bentz June 2, 2001; she survives.
Paul attended The Bridge Community Church. He was employed at McDonald’s in Decatur.

Allen E. Brune, 85, of Decatur died Wednesday. Arrangements are pending at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
Clinton L. Mankey, 68, Decatur, died Thursday. Arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
Bernhard P. Kahlert, 87, Berne, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at Adams Woodcrest. Bernhard was born in Jauer, Germany July 4, 1927, to the late Bernhard and Anna (Brier) Kahlert. He married Doris A. Nevil Dec. 28, 1991.
Bernhard was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He worked for M.W. Habegger Construction from 1954-1961 and Hardware Wholesalers from 1961-1981. He retired in 1981. He served during World War II in the German Army.
