Dorothy C. Goelz, 86, Hoagland, passed away Aug. 9, 2014, in the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born April 21, 1928, in Allen County, the daughter of the late Carl “Charles” Knipstein and the late Anna (Molthan) Knipstein.
She married Herbert M. Goelz on Nov. 4, 1951, in St. John Lutheran Church-Flatrock.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church-Flatrock and the Ladies Aid of the church.
John M. Zuber, 62, Decatur, passed away Aug. 9, 2014, in Decatur.
He was born Dec. 29, 1951, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late James Zuber and Florine (Stoeckly) Zuber. He married Sandy Peveler June 10, 2001, in Brown County.
John was a member of New Beginnings Family Center in Decatur.
He was employed for 43 years with American Electric Power as a serviceman.
Dr. Hyung Soo Lee
Dr. Hyung Soo "Terry" Lee, 74, a surgeon in Decatur for almost 40 years, passed away Aug. 7, 2014, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 21, 1940, to the late Chang Ho Lee and Bok Soon (Hong) Lee.
He was married to Antoinette (Kim) Lee in June 1971 in New York City. The ceremony was presided by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. She survives in Decatur.
Anna Marie Spangler, 77, rural Decatur, died Thursday Aug. 7, 2014 at her residence.
Anna was born Aug. 1, 1937 in Adams County to the late Perry A. and Bessie G. (Irwin) Everett.
She married Paul E. Spangler on Oct. 10, 1953.
Anna was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.
She was also a member of the Tiger Lillies Ladies Club, Harley Owner Group, Gold Wing Road Riders Association and a life member of the NRA.
John Dana Grose Jr., 75, Decatur, died Aug. 1, 2014, in hospice following a long illness.
He was born Nov. 25, 1938, at home in Lockwood, W.V., to the late Dana and Gay Thomas Grose.
Carl L. Robinson, 77, Decatur, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at his residence.
He was born in Portland Jan. 12, 1937, to the late John S. and Violet V. (Arnett) Robinson.
On Dec. 1, 1956 he married Donna M. Trammel; she survives in Decatur.
Kinsley Grace Wagner, infant daughter of Jonathan and Cassandra (Buescher) Wagner of Cicero, was delivered into Jesus' arms Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Stillborn at 37 weeks, our precious little girl was already part of our family even though she never took a breath.
Paul J. Coyne, 75, Monroeville, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at his residence.
He married Judith A. Tackwell Aug. 16, 1974; she preceded him in death Oct. 19, 2010.
Among survivors are his sons, Matthew A. (Jennifer) Coyne of Fort Wayne; and Chad E. (Julie) Coyne of Monroeville; sisters, Geraldine Ehrsam of Danville; and Mary Brickley of Decatur; seven grandchildren, Maylen, Payton, Bennie and Jackson Coyne; Isaac, Cheyenne and Hannah Welch.
