Shawn K. Schumm, 51, of Ohio City, Ohio, passed away Tuesday.

March 19th
James E. Staub, 69, of Decatur, died at his residence on Sunday, March 17, 2013.
James was born on December 15, 1943, to the late Louis H. and Mary Hildegarde (Lengerich) Staub.
On October 23, 1971, he married Marilyn D. Rosswurm; she survives in Decatur.
March 18th
Don H. Arnold, 88, Goshen, died Saturday.
Among survivors are wife, Nancy Arnold of Goshen, and two brothers, including Homer (Edith) Arnold of Berne.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday t Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be there at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.
Edna E. Schwartz, 60, Geneva, died Friday.

Daniel J. Mills
Daniel J. Mills, 80, of Decatur, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Dan was born on July 4, 1932, in Adams County to the late Robert L. and Harriet (Myers) Mills.
On August 1, 1967, he married Phyllis E. (Liby) Minch; she survives in Decatur.
March 13th
Maria S. Alanis, 85, of Decatur, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
Maria was born on May 17, 1927, in San Juan, Texas, to the late Jose and Paula (Hinojosa) Trevino.
On May 17, 1945 she married Salvador Alanis; he preceded her in death on January 29, 1995.
Maria was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She was a county office assistant for the U.S.D.A. Farmer’s Home Administration for 15 years and also a homemaker.
Anna Jane Gilliom, 88, Berne, died Saturday, March 9, at Swiss Village.
Among survivors are her husband, Laverne "Bowtie" Gilliom; three daughters, Carol Gilliom of Ronald, Wash.; Betty Mosure of Berne; and Judy (Dan) Rosenberger of Sheridan, Ind.; two sons, Tom (Martha) Gilliom of West Lafayette and Richard (Mary) Gilliom of Goshen.
Visitation is 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday First Mennonite Church Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.. Burial will be in MRE Cemetery, Berne.
