    "Mack" Roberts, 70, of Decatur died Saturday, August 24, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Patricia L. Ross

August 28, 2013

    Patricia L. Ross, 82, of Decatur, and a longtime resident of the Magley area, passed away at 7:35 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at the Woodcrest nursing Center in Decatur.
    Patricia was born Wednesday, July 29, 1931, in Van Wert County, Ohio, to the late Harry E. Lee and the late May F. (Burk) Lee.
    She married Ralph W. Ross on July 19, 1953, and he survives.
    Patricia was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ-Magley, American Legion Auxiliary, and Women of the Moose.

Richard E. Barger

    Richard E. Barger, 80, of Wells County, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Ossian Health Care.
    Richard was born August 1, 1933, in Wells County to the late Orville Barger and Edith C. Bauman.
    He married Marjorie M. (Bower) Wine on July 24, 1976, in Bluffton.
    Richard was a member of Sonlight Wesleyan Church in Bluffton. He was a farmer and worked at Wayne Metal Company for 26 years.

Mary M. Harvey

    Mary M. Harvey, 86, of Monroe, died on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Adams Heritage Nursing Home in Monroeville.
    Mary was born March 13, 1927, to the late Daniel D. and Dora G. (Bailey) Rhoades.
    She married Donald H. Harvey on July 12, 1946.
    Mary attended Monroe United Brethren Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and worked for Shaffer Glove Factory and Wayne Novelty.

Warren W. Wolfe

    Warren W. Wolfe, 84, of Decatur, passed away Friday, August 23, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
    Warren was born January 25, 1929, in Pleasant Mills to the late Carl O. and Ludia B. (Roush) Wolfe.
    He married Joyce Sue Cagle on December 22, 1952.
    Warren was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of American Legion Post 43 and S.A.R.

Wanda Glass

August 22, 2013

    Wanda Glass, 86, a resident of Portland, died Tuesday IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
    Her husband, Paul, died in 1992.
    Among survivors are a daughter and three sons, including William (Sindi) Wilhelm of Decatur. 
    Visitation will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, south of Redkey.

Eileen Tieman

    Eileen D. Tieman, 85, of Monroeville passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013, at Adams Heritage Nursing Home in Monroeville.
    Eileen was born on Monday, February 6, 1928, in Allen County, the daughter of the late Charles H. and Helen M. (Nahrwold) Judt.
    She married Eugene W. Tieman on August 22, 1948, in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Soest; he passed away on August 13, 2002.

Burnice J. Williams

    Burnice J. Williams, 94, Monroe, died Monday at Swiss Village Retirement Center in Berne.
    Among survivors are a son, Jim G. Smith of Berne, and a daughter, Lucy (Larry) Atkinson of Monroe.
    Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Little Salamonia Cemetery in Portland.

Tabitha Dee Cline

    Tabitha Dee "Bike" Cline, 96, of Bryant, passed away at 10:55 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2013, at her residence.
    Tabitha was born Thursday, November 30, Thanksgiving day, 1916, in Adams County, the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Decker) Teeter.
    She graduated from Geneva High School, Class of 1934. She married Marion F. Cline on Thursday, November 21, Thanksgiving day,1940, in Geneva. Marion passed away September 25, 1997.

Mary I. Jessup

    Mary I. Jessup, 97, formerly a lifelong resident of Decatur, died at 8:28 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at The Village of Heritage in Monroeville, where she had been living for the past two and a half years.
    Mary was born September 29, 1915, in Fort Wayne to the late William F. and Florence (Stump) Kohls.
    She married Charles E. Jessup on July 1, 1951, in Decatur; he passed away January 20, 1996.
