Russel H. “Sonny” Jauregui, 70, of Decatur, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, January 30, 2013.
Sonny was born on February 2, 1942, in Decatur to the late Russel and Ruth (Blount) Jauregui.
On August 20, 1999, he married Gail Alverson.
Sonny was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He served six years in the Army National Guard and was a member of Decatur American Legion Post 43. He retired from BF Goodrich and Dolco factories.
January 30th
James V. Brazill, Sr., 81, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at St. Anne Home and Retirement Community in Fort Wayne.
He was born in Saint Louis, Mo., to the late Patrick J. and Katherine L. Brazill.
James worked as an area manager with Miller Brewing Company for 20 years, retiring in 1988. He was also an associate with Mungovan and Sons Funeral Home for 12 years. Jim was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Life Member of BPO Elks, and Knights of Columbus, 4th degree.
Alfred E. “Gene” Fryback, 76, of Decatur, died Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Alfred was born on October 28, 1936, in Allen County to the late Clarence W. and Velma Mae (Hamrick) Fryback.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the American Legion Post 43. He served in the Army National Guard and United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
Ernest R. "Ernie" Liechty, 78, of Berne, passed away on January 28, 2013, at Swiss Village.
He was born on December 14, 1934, to the late Amos and Della (Nussbaum) Liechty in Adams County.
Ernie married Berdella M. Alt on April 5, 1958; she preceded him in death.

Vernon “Ben” Hebble, Jr., 66, of Decatur, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Chalet Village in Berne.
Ben was born on March 24, 1946, in Adams County to the late Vernon B. Hebble, Sr., and Lois Mae (Straub) Hebble.
On March 8, 1969, he married Teresa R. Heimann.
Ralph E. Kenworthy, 107, of Decatur, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Ralph was born in Wyoming, Ohio, on January 6, 1906, to the late Milton A. and Eva (Bunch) Kenworthy.
On August 20, 1938, Ralph married M. Jane Augenbaugh. She preceded him in death.
Ralph retired in 1971 with 30 years of service for Allen Dairy Products in Fort Wayne. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Helen Marie Nevil, 87, of Portland, died Thursday at her residence.
Visitation was Sunday and from 1-2 p.m. today at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
