January 28th
Hal E. "Weiner" Wann, 55, of Berne, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at his home.
Hal was born to Harold and the late Regina (Pierce) Wann on May 16, 1957, in Van Wert, Ohio.
He married Bonnie Beer on September 18, 1999; she survives.
Hal worked at Berne Apparel and later at Red Gold in Geneva. He enjoyed fishing, camping, barbecuing, and playing pool.
Virginia M. Raudenbush, 89, of Decatur, passed away at 11:10 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Adams Memorial Extended Care.
She was born on June 6, 1923, in Saybrook, Ill., to the late Leroy M. and Anna M. (Blum) Taylor.
Virginia married James Harvey on February 9, 1944; he preceded her in death in June of 1952.

Helen Nevil, 87, Portland, died Thursday.
Arrangements are pending at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home.
January 24th
Lucile C. Foor, 99, of Decatur, died Monday, January 21, 2013, at the Village of Heritage in Monroeville.
Lucile was born in Willshire, Ohio, on October 1, 1913, to the late Monroe and Ada (Detro) Byer.
She married Merle L. Foor on February 3, 1933; he preceded her in death on August 27, 1993.
January 23rd
Linda Buuck, 91, of Ossian, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in the Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She married Gerhard Buuck on March 29, 1941; he passed away on May 21, 2000.
Linda had been employed at Hoosier Wire-Die.
Irene B. Hilty, 50, of Shipshewana, died Monday at Parkview LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange.
Among survivors are her husband, Willis R. Hilty; daughter, Emily Hilty of Shipshewana; son, Lyle Ray Hilty of Shipshewana; her mother (not named), of Berne; sister, Martha (Sam J.) Hilty; two brothers, Larry (Irene) Hilty of Monroe, and Leroy (Barbara) Hilty of Berne.
Rev. Randall P. Luther, 68, of Berne, died on Monday at his residence.
Among survivors are his wife, Carol (King) Luther; son, Randall (Patty) Luther of Marysville, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth (Shawn) McGue of Lima, Ohio; two stepsons, Chris (Maureen) Norton of Hudsonville, Mich., and Kenneth (Carla) Norton of Madison, Wis.;
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday at Cross Community Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. at the church on Friday,.
Simon S. Schwartz, 39, of Monroe, passed away at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Friday, March 23, 1973, in Adams County to John N. and Suzanne E. (Troyer) Schwartz; they survive in Monroe.
Mr. Schwartz was a member of the Old Order Amish.
January 22nd
John A. Burgin, 59, of Decatur, died at his residence on January 20, 2013.
He was born in Decatur on November 27, 1953, to James P. and Patty (Whitehead) Burgin.
John was a cook for Casa D’Angelo in Fort Wayne.
Among survivors are his four sons, Dan (Sarah) Burgin, Sam (Shanna) Burgin, Tim (Carrie) Burgin, all of Decatur, and Matt (Samantha) Burgin of Pleasant Mills; two brothers, Mike Burgin of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jim Burgin of Fort Wayne; and 14 grandchildren.
Nikki C. Daniels, 50, of Monroe, died Monday at Chalet Village in Berne.
Among survivors are her mother, Donna M. Brock of Monroe, and two daughters, Holly N. Daniels and Heather M. Daniels, both of Decatur.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. on Thursday at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Ray Cemetery in Monroe.
