January 4th
Troy L. Dailey, 38, of Berne, died Monday at his home.
He was born to Darrell Dailey and Diane Rhoades in Van Wert, Ohio.
Among survivors are his father, Darrell, of Bryant; his mother, Diane, of Greenville, Ohio; two sons, Quinn A. and Cajun K. Dailey, of Berne; and a daughter, Audrey Dailey, of Berne.
Visitation is Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the First Missionary Church in Berne.
Charles E. Wulliman, 94, Berne, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Swiss Village.
He was born to Mennis and Pauline (Sprunger) Wulliman on Januay 17, 1917, in Adams County.
He married Lavon (Lehman) Wulliman on February 4, 1941; she survives.

Beverly J. Bassett, 78, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
Beverly was born on May 21, 1933, in Decatur, to the late Walter and Helen (Ross) Lister. On September 6, 1953, she married James R. “Jim” Bassett. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2010.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne.
Richard “Dick” Gage, 78, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012.
Mr. Gage was born in Adams County and moved to The Villages from Bedford, Indiana in 1991. He was a member and past Exalted Ruler of the Elks 826 and a member of the Knights of Columbus 1166. Locally, he is a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church.

Brandon A. Heath, 21, of Decatur, died Friday in Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne of injuries suffered when hit by a car while walking across 13th St. in Decatur on December 24.
He was born to Douglass W. Heath of Van Wert, Ohio, and Cheri Goodwin of Decatur.
Other survivors are one brother, Dustin W. Heath of Celina, Ohio; two stepsisters, Shawna Mergy and Mandi Fuerst of Van Wert; seven grandparents; and three great-grandparents.
Krystene A. Poper 60, of Berne, passed away on Friday December 30, 2011, at Chalet Village Nursing Home.
She was born on February 21, 1951, to the late Larry and Mildred (Backus) Pagley in New Castle, Pa.
Krystene was a clown for Keystone Clowns in Pennsylvania.
Joyle J. Wilson, 91, a resident of Decatur the past six years, but formerly a lifelong resident of Wells County, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in her residence at Evergreen Court Apartments.
She was born on February 3, 1920, in Wells County to Grover and Ida Vesta Sands Denney.
She married Ralph E. Wilson on January 20, 1940; he passed away on February 14, 2009.
