February 8th
Emily Y. Hart, 70, of Decatur, died Tuesday.
Among survivors are her husband, John Hart of Decatur; son John Kiser Jr.; sister Mary (Lester) Sheets of Monroe; brother Jerry (Sharon) Knittle, of Decatur; brother Lloyd (Susan) Knittle of Portland; and brother Allen (Belle) Knittle of Decatur.
Calling is one hour prior to services in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.
February 7th
Betty Lee Roe, 82, of Decatur, passed away Monday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.
February 6th
Larry L. Uhick, 62, of Wolcottville, Ind., a former Berne resident, passed away on February 4, 2012, at his home.
He was born to Elmer and the late Norma Jean (Swygart) Uhrick on June 14, 1949, in Adams County.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Neuenschwander), whom he married on August 15, 1970.
Wilma Louise Brown, 81, of Rockford, Ohio, for the past 2 1/2 years, passed away at 2 a.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2012, in the Colonial Nursing Home in Rockford.
Louise was a longtime resident of Willshire, Ohio.
Louise was born on Friday, January 30, 1931, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Oscar and Hila May (Slusser) Miller.
Mary Ann Ewell, 83, of Preble, passed away at 7:14 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, in St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Her death resulted from injuries sustained in a kitchen fire two weeks before.
Mary was born on Tuesday, February 28, 1928, in Salmonier, Newfoundland, Canada, the daughter of the late Patrick and Gertrude (Snow) Bennett.
February 3rd
Frank Fuentes, 91, of Decatur, died Thursday in the Woodcrest Nursing Center.
He was born toElizabeth, New Jersey.
Among survivors are his wife, Adeline M. Fuentes, Decatur; daughters Georgiana Fuentes of Jasper, Ala.; Barbara (Ivan) Decker, of Fort Wayne; and Frances (John) Binkley, of Fort Wayne.
Friends will be received from 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the Woodcrest - Porter Auditorium. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the auditorium.

Cleo Naomi (Wall) Augsburger, 88, of Berne, died Tuesday at Swiss Village.
She was born to Hiram Clayton and May Esther (Harrison) Wall.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Swiss Village Chapel, with visitation from 9 a.m. to time of services. Burial will be in the Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery, rural Berne.
Arrangement were by Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home.
Wanda J. Crickmore, 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012.
Wanda enjoyed her time traveling and a good cup of coffee. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorothy B. Hanni, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
January 30th
James B. Roop, 83, of Decatur, and a past resident of Naples, Fla., for 21 years, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012, in the Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home located in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Monday, April 30, 1928, in Decatur, the son of the late Ralph J. Roop and the late Etheldreda (Parent) Roop.
He married Marilyn G. Teeple on April 26, 1952, in Decatur.
