John T. "J.T." Sailors, 87, of Walton, Indiana, passed away at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born March 9, 1925, in Clymers, he was the son of the late Leo J. and Lorena E. Farrer Sailors.
On February 6, 1948, in Logansport, he was married to Marilyn Bishop Sailors; she survives.
Walter E.L. Schwartz, 16, Monroe, died Wednesday morning in a construction accident.
Arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held today in Rockford, Ohio, for Decatur native Matthew Alan Ford, a Rockford resident who died May 25 at the age of 50.
He was the son of Ronald W. and Jacqueline A. (Snyder) Ford, former Decatur residents now residing in Spring Lake, Michigan.
Matthew Ford also is survived by his wife, Anna, and seven children.

Bernadine Ruth Bleeke, 78, of Decatur, passed away at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Ossian Health Care Center, where she had been a patient for four days.
Bernadine was born on Wednesday, October 11, 1933, in Adams County, to the late Joseph C. and Adelia L. (Young) Bleeke.
She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Decatur, and was a member of the Ladies Aid of the church. Bernadine was a homemaker.
Among survivors are several nieces and nephews.
Londa (Ann) Crump, 68, of rural Portland, died Sunday in Parkview Regional Hospital.
Among survivors are her husband, Stephen Crump, Portland; two sons, Lonnie (Lisa) Crump, Decatur, and Ken (Deborah) Crump, Poneto; two daughters, Stephanie (Terry) Marcum, Portland, and Sherry (Vaughn) Noggler, Fort Recovery, Ohio.
Ethel M. Hamrick, 90, of Decatur, passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, in the Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Ethel was born on Tuesday, January 31, 1922, in Carlsrew, Illinois, the daughter of the late George T. and Calley (Gross) Adams.
She married Charles E. Hamrick, of Decatur, on September 1, 1951; he survives.
Frieda Herderhorst, 96, of Decatur, passed away at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, in the Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Frieda was a longtime resident of Monroeville and had been a resident of the Woodcrest Garden Apartments since 2009.
Frieda was born on Monday, August 9, 1915, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Edward and Elise (Franke) Busick.
William F. Hullinger, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Born in Decatur, William worked as a Tool & Die Maker for Zollner Piston 34 years before retiring in 1988. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of American Legion Post 82, VFW 2457 in New Haven, the Marine Corps League, Devil Dogs, and Korean War Veterans.

Dorothy G. Liechty, 89, of Berne, died Wednesday, May 23, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 6, 1922, to David O. and Elma (Eicher) Liechty.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 31, at 1 p.m., at MRE Cemetery.
There are no calling or funeral services.
