Frances L. Heck, 98, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Born in Monroe, Wisconsin, on September 11, 1913, she was a retired bank employee and homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Heck, and daughter-in-law, Brenda Thomas, both of Decatur; a daughter, Frances (Darrell) Ransom; a granddaughter, Kathleen (John) Mason, of Freeport, Ill.; a nephew, Dick Hamm; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan (Rachael) Hiser, Katie Rausch, and Tori Hanson; and one great-great-grandson, Zach.
Ronald “Robbie” R. Kemezy, 45, of Bluffton, formally of Muncie, died Saturday at his residence.
He was born to Ronald G. (Ann) Kemezy and Patti B. (Gene L.) Ruse; both survive. Other survivors include one brother and three sisters, including Tammy J. Dobbels of Decatur.
A graveside service and burial will occur at a later date at Brookeside Memorial Park, in Montpelier. Arrangements were by Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton.
Mary E. Smeltzer-Shaw, 66, of Decatur, passed away at 7 a.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Wells County on December 4, 1945, to the late Edwin R. and Isabelle M. (Franklin) Smeltzer, Jr.
Lucile A. Trentham, 79, of Decatur, passed away Sunday morning at Lutheran Hospital.
Lucile was born on April l9, 1933, in Butler, Indiana, to the late Gerald and Edna (Greer) Trentham.
She married Tom Trentham, who is deceased.
Lucile attended Mt. Hope of the Nazarene Church near Berne. While staying in DeLand, Florida, she worked as an electronic technician at General Dynamics. Lucile enjoyed NASCAR racing, cooking, baking, working puzzle books, and loved her family.
