Gilbert Paul Blomenberg, 94 of Seward, Nebraska, died May 13, 2012 in York, Nebraska.
Gilbert was born on January 20, 1918, to Martin Conrad and Esther Johanna (Preuss) Blomenberg at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Shortly after his baptism, his parents moved to the Blomenberg farm located near Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preble Township, between Decatur and Poe, to reside with his paternal grandparents, Friederich and Wilhemine (Witte) Blomenberg.
Carl Lichtenberger, 79, of Decatur, died Wednesday at the Van Wert Hospice Center.
Arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
Marggie Solano, 89, Berne, died Tuesday at her residence.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann (Joe) Tilbury, Berne; sons, David (Pauline) Solano, Riverside, Calif., and Ruben (Janet) Solano, Berne.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Trinity Methodist Church, with calling one hour prior to services.
Burial will be in MRE Cemetery.
