March 30th
Glen E. Dubach, 89, of Berne, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born to Calvin and Estella (Fox) Dubach on February 28, 1923.
He married Grace (Mosser) Dubach on May 24, 1947. She is deceased.
Glen was a member of the Cross Community Church, where he served on the Consistory. He retired from Farm Bureau Co-Op with 38 years of service in the petroleum division in sales and delivery.
Virginia E. Fosnaugh, 92, of Decatur, a former longtime resident of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, in Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Tuesday, October 28, 1919, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Floyd M. and Lydia M. (Hannie) Shoaf.
She married James J. Fosnaugh on April 13, 1941, in Decatur; he passed away on May 25, 2004.
Virginia was a member of the former Willshire United Methodist Church.

Patricia A. Hain, 88, of Decatur, passed away on March 28, 2012, at Swiss Village Retirement Center.
She was born on November 8, 1923, in Decatur, to the late Fred and Esther (Sheets) McConnell.
She married Simeon J. Hain on July 29, 1945.
Patricia was a lifetime resident of Decatur and worked as a homemaker and the operating manager for the family business. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and was also the past president of Tri Kappa Sorority.
Helen Neuenschwander, 84, of Berne, died Wednesday at Parkview Hospital.

Stewart W. McMillen, Jr, 76, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away at his residence Saturday, March 24, 2012.
He was born in Fort Wayne in 1935, the son of the late Stewart and Elizabeth McMillen.
He graduated from Culver Military Academy and attended Purdue University. He was in the Air Force as an Aviation Cadet. He drove race cars for 12 years and had a cattle ranch in Wyoming. He retired from Emergency Management and moved to Kerrville in 1990.
Loren W. Myers, 83, of Monroe, passed away on Monday March 26, 2012, at Woodcrest Nursing Center in Decatur.
He was born on July 20, 1928, to the late Frank and Minnie (Foreman) Myers, in Adams County.
On August 1, 1953, Loren married Norma J. (Funk) Myers.
Wayne E. Pope, 73, of Hoagland, passed away at 4:19 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at his residence following an extended illness.
Wayne was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1938, in Wells County, the son of the late Fred T. and Vivian C. (Olson) Pope.
He married Rosemary Bechtel on September 21, 1958, in Plum Tree, Indiana; she survives.
Wayne was a member of the Hope United Methodist Church, where he led praise and worship.

Loren Myers, 83, of Monroe, died Monday at Woodcrest Retirement Community.

Gerald L. Beer, 74, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Saturday, December 25, 1937, in Decatur, the son of the late Wilbert and Della (Zurcher) Beer.
He married Glenda C. Thomas on December 22, 1956, in Zion United Church of Christ in Decatur.
Gerald was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, the Moose Lodge No. 1311, and the Sons of the American Legion.
