Elizabeth M. “Betty” Miller, 80, of Decatur, died Sunday at Woodcrest Nursing Center.

Eileen Wolpert
Eileen Wolpert, 85, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Eileen was born in Adams County on September 8, 1926, to the late Charles and Helen (Blec) Keller.
On September 1, 1949, she married Joseph R. Wolpert. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Jasmine Faith (Baumgartner) Cline, 36, of Geneva, died Monday, February 6.
Arrangements are pending at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva.
Frederick A. Mann, 70, of Angola, died on Wednesday at Parkview Hospital.
Among survivors is his brother, Bruce W. (Carole) Mann of Monroe.
Visitation is from noon-5 p.m. on Sunday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren.
Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
February 9th
Elizabeth L. "Betty" Macke, 100, of Decatur, passed away at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Betty was born May 31, 1911, to Charles and Bertha (Bleeke) Kirchner, in Adams County.
She married William Macke on May 3, 1931; he passed away on January 5, 1990.
Betty was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preble, and was a longtime active member in the church choir.
Frederick A. Mann, 70, of Angola, died Wednesday, in Parkview Hospital, in Fort Wayne.
Arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home.
John L. Fries, 83, of Columbia City, died on Sunday.
Among survivors are his daughter, Mary Catherine (Gregg) Palmer of Decatur.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at St. Paul of the Cross, 315 S. Line Street, Columbia City, with visitation after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, at the church. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
Marlene Wilson, 73, of Homossassa, Florida, formerly of Decatur,died Monday.
Along with her husband James L. Wilson, survivors include three brothers, Otto, Leo, and Norvin Thieme, all of Decatur.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Decatur.

Betty Lee Roe, 82, of rural Decatur, passed away at 5:50 a.m., on Monday, February 6, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Betty was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1929, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Raymond M. and Arberdeen (Snyder) Fickert.
She married the late Ernest Roe on September 28, 1957, in Ohio City, Ohio. He passed away on January 5, 2011.
Betty was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and WELCA in Ohio City.
Emily Y. Hart, 70, of Decatur, died Tuesday.
Among survivors are her husband, John Hart of Decatur; son John Kiser Jr.; sister Mary (Lester) Sheets of Monroe; brother Jerry (Sharon) Knittle, of Decatur; brother Lloyd (Susan) Knittle of Portland; and brother Allen (Belle) Knittle of Decatur.
Calling is one hour prior to services in the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Decatur Cemetery.
