Max E. “Lightning” Colchin, 87, of Avilla, formerly of Fort Wayne, left this world on Tuesday, December 25, at Provena Sacred Heart Home.
Max was born on December 26, 1924, in Adams County to the late Fredrick J. and Frances E. (Coffee) Colchin.
On May 3, 1954, he married Margaret Weber; she passed away on August 27, 2012.
Raymond K. "Doc" Milligan, 84, of Geneva, died on Tuesday at his residence.
Among survivors is his wife, Thelma L. (Longnecker) Milligan of Geneva.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bryant.
Robert C. Thompson, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2012, in the Parkview Hospital-Randallia Drive Campus, Fort Wayne.
Robert was born in Allen County on Wednesday, July 31, 1929, to the late Elmer J. Thompson and Adella W. (Scheumann) Thomspon.
He married Joan L. Fuelling on April 25, 1945, in St. Peter Lutheran Church (Fuelling) in rural Decatur.
Rita Vargas, 73, of Wren, Ohio, died Wednesday.
