October 19th
William Herbert Lewis, 76, of White House, Tenn., died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at his home.
Bill was born on February 25, 1936 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to the late Gerald Lewis and Frances Minnick.
Bill was known as Papu.
Louis A. Wolpert, 91, of Decatur died today at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
October 18th
Randall F. Culver, 73, of Berne, died Wednesday at Chalet Village.
Among survivors are his mother, Rev. Dortha Culver of Tempe of Ariz.; wife, Janice (Hay) Culver of Berne; daughters, Carolyn (Gary) Livengood of New Haven; Catherine L. (David) Ziegenfuss of Walnutport, Pa.; Carin Riley of LaPort, Ind.; and Barbara L. (Edwin) Welch of Upland, Ind.
Visitation will be from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Mt. Hope Church.

October 17th
Eric Richard Mies, 41, from Chicago, Ill., formerly of Decatur, died Thursday, October 11, 2012, in a tragic accident in Cancun, Mexico.
He was the youngest son of Dick and Gwen Mies, born in Decatur, on September 28, 1971.
On June 19, 2010, he married Katie Elizabeth Czelatdko, of Cederburg, Wis., whom he had met in Chicago, shortly before his father died in 2008.
Frederick W. Kukelhan, 81, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in Adams County on Tuesday, June 9, 1931, to the late Fred W. and Marie (Schueler) Kukelhan.
Frederick was married to Carol Ann Adam; she passed away on February 13, 1978.
Ralph Smith, of Monmouth, died Tuesday in Mission, Texas.

October 16th
Stephen C. “Steve” Omlor, 70, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
He was born in Adams County on February 13, 1942, to the late Charles A. Omlor and M. Leona (Folck) Lose.
Steve married Paula L. Kahn on January 17, 1976.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Msgr. J.J. Semeitz Council 864, where he served as Past Grand Knight.
Loren L. Stauffer, 70, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2012, at Woodcrest.
He was born to the late Everett Stauffer and Eileen (Steiner) Stauffer on March 3, 1942.
Loren married Doris Daniel on April 14, 1965; she survives.
He was a member of the Berne Evangelical Church. He was employed at Indiana University, Bloomington and later at Berco in Berne.
October 15th
Ruby V. (Rambo) Blazer, 94 of Decatur, went to be with her Saviour on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Convoy, Ohio, on October 10, 1918, to the late George E. and Charlotte M. (Kreischer) Ladd.
Ruby first married Glenn Rambo in July 1934; he died on January 21, 1967. She then married Fred Blazer on January 6, 1968; he died on October 11, 2011.
