David L. Bailey, 66, of rural Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.
David was born in Decatur on May 1, 1945, to Robert L. and Donna B. (Landrum) Bailey, who are deceased.
On August 11, 1988, he married Carol A. (Rumschlag) Brandenburg.
David attended St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur.
He retired from Bunge North America, formerly Central Soya, in 2007 after 37 years.
Karry Lee Bowman, 60, of Decatur, died Sunday at home.
He was born on March 26, 1951, in Decatur to Robert W. and Beulah M. Biberstine Bowman, who are deceased.
Among survivors are a daughter, Heidi Bowman of Decatur; a brother, Larry R. "Bodie" Bowman of Woodburn; and three sisters, Elaine Harmon, Mrs. Kevin (Sandra) Adams, and Patricia Oetting, all of Decatur.
Aa memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Damascus Road Church at 1040 S. 11th St.
