Julia W. Banta, 89, of Geneva, passed away at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur.
She was born on Friday, February 10, 1922, in Portland to LeFinley Hiles and Shirley Maud Teagle Farris.
Mrs. Banta was a graduate of Portland High School.
Audra E. Miller, 88, of Decatur, passed away at 1:15 a.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
Born on June 2, 1923, in Celina, Ohio, to Dallas and Anna (Suhr) Coats, she married Fuhrman P. Miller on March 24, 1946; he died on Oct. 3, 2010.
A graduate of Celina High School, she was a homemaker and supported her husband's ministry for more than 50 years, which took her to Avilla (1952-1954), Rensselaer (1954-1957), Linn Grove (1957-1961), Decatur (1961-1976), and Goshen (1976-1987).
