Hillis M. Colchin, 91, of Decatur, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 6, 1919, in Lake Township of Allen County to Louis A. and Gertrude M. (Van Meter) Wisel.
She married Mark D. Colchin Sr. on September 14, 1942; he passed away on July 27, 1982.
Sharon L. Thornton, 63, of Decatur, died on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the nursing center in Woodcrest Retirement Community.
She was born on January 11, 1948, in Greenville, Ohio, to Charles and Doris (Kemp) Thompson.
On January 14, 1967, she married Ronald Thornton. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2011.
Sharon had worked for the Adams County Emergency Management Agency for many years.
Charles Herman Schlemmer, 75, formerly of rural Ohio City, Ohio, died at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, in Bryan Care and Rehabilitation Center at Bryan, Ohio.
He was born on November 17, 1935, in Adams County to Rudolph and Irene Kohlmeier Schlemmer.
He retired from International Harvester at Fort Wayne after 30 years of service in production and was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (Schumm) in rural Willshire, Ohio.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
