Wayne Derrickson, 89, of Geneva, died Thursday in Adams Memorial Hospital.

April 28th
Freddie M. Callow, 76, of Decatur, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on February 15, 1935, in Speedwell, Tennessee, to McKinley and Cora Tinnell Marsee.
She married William D. Callow on May 29, 1954; he passed away on October 2, 2003.
She was employed by the Schafer Co. in Decatur from 1967 to 1996.
Charles W. Small, 76, of Convoy, Ohio, died Wednesday in Van Wert In-Patient Hospice at Van Wert, Ohio.
He was born to Wilbur and Mildred Elmmon Small
Among survivors are three sons, Brad and Chris Small of Convoy and Greg Small of Monroeville, Ohio; a sister; and a brother, Joe Small of Monroeville, Indiana.
Betty J. Tinkham, 85, of Decatur, died at 11:24 a.m. Tuesday in Adams Memorial Hospital following surgical complications.
She was born on August 30, 1925, in Hoagland to Rufus and Hester Young Werst.
She married Melvin H. Tinkham; he preceded her in death in 2001.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Decatur.

Esther N. Augsburger, 95, of Berne, passed away at 11:35 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011, in Swiss Village Retirement Community of Berne.
She was born on September 16, 1915, in Geneva to Gee R. and Edith M. Edgar Greene.
Mrs. Augsburger was a teacher with Fort Wayne Community Schools and with Geneva schools. She retired in 1978 after 42 years of service.
Neil W. Highland, 91, Decatur, died on Tuesday in Parkview Hospital at Fort Wayne. Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.

Esther Augsburger, 95, of Berne, died Monday in Swiss Village Retirement Community.

Wanda P. Neadstine Fugate, 100, who lived in the Monroeville area for more than 60 years, died at 10:32 a.m. Sunday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community of Decatur.
She was born on September 28, 1910, in Dixon, Ohio.
She married Howard J. Fugate on July 10, 1937, in Monroeville; he passed away on March 16, 1994.
Wanda was a homemaker who also operated Fugate's IGA Store in Dixon from 1937-48.
Carl Smith, 81, formerly of Decatur, died Sunday in The Village of Heritage nursing home at Monroeville.
He was born to Charles and Elizabeth Zueber Smith.
There are no survivors.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Decatur Cemetery. Visitation is 10-10:45 a.m. Wednesday in Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
