Steven J. Geist, 60, of Fort Wayne, died December 1.
He was born to John K. “Dick” and Edna B. (Cosby) Geist.
Survivors include two sisters, Sandy (Rodney) Funk of Roanoke and Susan (Larry) Smith of Elkhart; and two brothers, Larry (Judi) Geist of Fort Wayne and Ric (Bev) Geist (Bellmont choral director) of Fort Wayne.
Ludella L. McDowell, 101, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 1:55 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011, at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne.
She was born on November 27, 1910, in Berne to Benhardt and Dinah (Habegger) Lehman.
She married John McDowell on March 23, 1979; he passed away on September 1, 1986.
Eunice Sprunger Suman, 65, of Fairland, Indiana, formerly of Berne, passed away on December 1, 2011.
She was born on June 11, 1946, to Irvin and Norma Agler Sprunger, who are deceased.
Surviving are her husband, John Suman Jr.; two daughters, Marla Thornton and Melissa Price; two grandchildren, Levi and Ava Price; three stepchildren, Trudi Diehm, Stacey Smyser, and Tim Suman; five stepgrandchildren, Eric and Jonas Diehm, Ben Smyser, and Zach and Jade Suman; and one brother, Lee Sprunger of Berne.
