Emma S. Girod, 95, Fort Wayne, died Sunday at 9:15 p.m. at her residence.
She was the daughter of Samuel J. and Elizabeth Ann (Miller) Christner. She was married on January 18, 1940, to John S. Girod, who preceded her in death on March 5, 2002.
Jerry L. "J.T." Tharp Sr., 72, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on March 22, 1939, in Ridgeville, Indiana, to Roe and Frances Wooters Tharp.
He married Mariana M. Jauregui on June 29, 1957.
