Annaliese Foss, 83, of Berne, died at 7:51 p.m. Friday in Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne, following a sudden illness.
She married Dr. Harold G. Foss; he passed away on September 26, 2008.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gregory G. (Annaliese) Schamerloh of Decatur; one son, William H. Foss (and wife Dianne) of Colorado; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
There will be no funeral service or visitation, according to Annaliese's request.
LaVerne L. Hilty, 60, of rural Berne, died on Sunday at Adams Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
Carol J. Schwan 95, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday November 19, 2011, at Woodcrest Nursing Home.
She was born on February 28, 1916, to Charles and Nida Belle (Wright) Seybold.
On October 16, 1937, she married Lionel Schwan; he passed away on January 26, 1989.
Carol was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Decatur.
She was a teacher in Fort Wayne Community Schools, with a master's degree in education from Indiana University.
Daniel S. Schwartz, 35, of rural Geneva, died at his residence on Friday, November 18, 2011.
Daniel was born on March 23, 1976, in Adams County to Dan U. and Rosie K. Schwartz Schwartz, who live in rural Geneva.
Daniel was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Kerry R. Smith, 59, of Poe, died at 3:10 p.m. Friday at his residence.
Kerry has been an inspiration to many for having been an 18-year survivor with brain cancer.
He was born on June 2, 1952, in Fort Wayne to Ross W. Smith and Doris J. Elzey Smith. His father is deceased; his mother, now Doris Schlaudraff, lives in Hoagland.
He married Karla Myers on April 11, 1980, in Poe United Methodist Church and she also survives.
