Frederick H. Blazer, 96, of Decatur, died Tuesday in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.

Mary Ann Holthouse, 89, of Decatur, died on Tuesday in Adams Memorial Hospital.

Zoe Raugh, 82, of Berne, died Tuesday in Chalet Village Health Care Center.
She was born to William and Rachel T. Kirkham Wiseman.
Surviving are two sons, Allen and Roger Raugh of Geneva, and one brother, Jolly Wiseman of Seymour, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, with burial in Oak Ridge Memorial Park at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Visiting hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday and are 9-10 a.m. Friday.

Lydia C. Kalthoff, 103, formerly of Decatur, died on Sunday in The Village of Heritage nursing home at Monroeville.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
October 10th
Chloe A. Christianer, 71, of Decatur, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on October 7, 1940, in Allen County to Thomas Edward and Zanta (Squire) Imel.
Chloe married Don G. Christianer on September 14, 1957.
Donald J. Dick, 76, a former longtime resident of rural Decatur, died Friday at 6:50 p.m. in The Laurels of Shane Hill at Rockford, Ohio. He had resided there for two and a half years.
He was born on August 1, 1935, in Adams County to Albert and Virgil L. Andrews Dick.
He married Mary M. Thatcher on February 16, 1957, in Willshire, Ohio; she survives.
He was a graduate of Adams Central High School and retired from International Harvester (now Navistar) after 30 years.
Leslie W. Janes, 61, of rural Howe, died October 6 at home.
He was born to Leslie D. and Virginia Bryant Janes.
Among survivors are his wife, Charlotte; a son, Kelly Janes of Sturgis, Michigan; a daughter, Michelle Janes of Sturgis; and a sister, Mrs. Jim (Pam) Clem of Decatur.
A graveside funeral service was held on Sunday at Brushy Chapel Cemetery of Wolcottville, Indiana.
Arrangements were by Carney-Frost Funeral Home of LaGrange.

Nora A. Parker, 76, of Fort Wayne, died at 9:40 a.m. on September 28 at her residence.
She was born on December 29, 1934, in Decatur.
She married Robert N. Parker, who survives.
She was a homemaker and a faithful servant of Jehovah God.
Juanita V. (Walters) Wells, 89, of Decatur, died on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, in her villa at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
Juanita was born in Ohio City, Ohio, on August 31, 1922 to Stanley D. and Frieda C. (Schaadt) Walters.
On August 2, 1947, she married Carlton R. Wells. He preceded her in death.
Juanita retired in March of 1982 with 39 years of service as a clerk for International Harvester in Fort Wayne.
October 5th
Johanna C. Rafert Buuck, 97, a former resident of the Decatur area, died at 12:04 p.m. Monday in Van Wert In-Patient Hospice Center at Van Wert, Ohio.
She was born on February 11, 1914, in New Haven to Rev. H.B. and Lydia Boettcher Kohlmeier.
She was married twice: first to Wilfred Rafert on December 25, 1936, who died on November 18, 1963, and then to Erwin Buuck on February 12, 1972, who died on January 3, 1982.
