Richard H. "Dick" Allspaw, 78, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday morning, October 22, 2011, at home.
He was born on June 28, 1933, to Robert and Harriet (Humphries) Allspaw in Berne.
He married Sharon Walker on June 8, 1969.
He graduated from Berne-French High School and Taylor University at Upland, Indiana. and earned a masters degree from Ball State University at Muncie.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 -57.
Denise R. Brite, 50, of Bluffton, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Denise was born in Decatur on February 14, 1961, to Joseph J. and Shirley N. (Hirschy) Brite.
Dolores M. Harshman, 89, of Kendallville, Indiana, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.
She was born on October 1, 1922, in Decatur to Frank J. and Mary Geimer Bentz, one of her 11 children.
She married Dale R. Harshman on August 22, 1942, and he passed away in 1996.
After starting out in a tiny apartment, they purchased a 40-acre farm east of Decatur.
Raymond C. "Bing" Johnson, 88, of Decatur, died today in the nursing center at Woodcrest Retirement Community.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
