Amy L. Bemus, 76, of Decatur, formerly of Sidney, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
Amy was born in Sidney, Ohio, on July 11, 1935, to Clarence A. and Isabel (Cotterman) Holly.
On June 9, 1956, Amy married Denton E. Bemus.
Amy was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur and its Rosary Society.
She was a 1953 graduate of Sidney High School in Sidney, Ohio.
Dorothy M. (Erxleben) Droege, 91, of Decatur, passed away at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2011, in her residence.
She was born on February 16, 1920, in Adams County to Henry C. and Alma (Eickhoff) Miller, who are both deceased.
She was baptized on February 22, 1920, at Zion Lutheran Church - Friedheim by Rev. C.B. Preuss. She was confirmed on March 25, 1934, at Friedheim, also by Rev. C.B. Preuss.
Doris B. Koomler, 86, of Decatur, died today in Adams Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
Genevieve A. "Jenny" Meshberger passed away peacefully during the early morning of Monday, Oct. 10, in her daughter’s home at Fairfield, Ohio.
Jenny had been lovingly cared for during the past eight years by her daughter, Triana (Meshberger) Adlon. Jenny was the wife of previously deceased Roger Meshberger Sr. Jenny, 94, suffered from no illnesses.
She was born in Decatur on January 30, 1917.
Salome E. Schwartz, 46, of rural Geneva, died on Sunday at home. She was born in Adams County on January 16, 1965, to Solomon N. and Salome A. Wengerd. Her father is deceased; her mother is a rural Geneva resident.
Other survivors include her husband, Benjamin J. Schwartz; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Rachel) Wickey of rural Geneva; and two sons, Solomon B. and Ruben B. Schwartz of rural Geneva.
