December 15th
Winifred E. Weterick, 90, of Bluffton, died Tuesday at Christian Care Retirement Community.
She was born to Cleophas E. and Marie Risley Myers.
Among survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jesse (Cheryl) Combs of Decatur, and two sons, Jon Weterick of Fort Wayne and Joe Weterick of Bluffton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Thoma-Rich-Chaney-Lemler Funeral Home, Bluffton, with burial in Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visiting hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday.
December 14th
Eileen M. Bogan, daughter of Peter A. and Mary Hess, died on December 10, 2010, at Westmoreland, a care facility in Lake Forest, Illinois.
She was born on March 18, 1924, in Adams County, near Decatur, the seventh of eight children, all the others being boys.
She is survived by her husband of just days short of 65 years, James R. Bogan, and by three children, Timothy J. (Linda), Kevin J. (Dr. Katherine Galluzzi) and Mary P. (Doug) Bell. She also leaves three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
William O. Farnsworth, 84, of Monroeville, died at 9:57 a.m. Sunday in the emergency room at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne after being stricken ill at home that day.
He was born on February 7, 1926, in Antwerp, Ohio, to Clyde Farnsworth Sr. and Grace S. Sunday Farnsworth.
He married Beaulah J. Brown on May 12, 1945, in Corpus Christi, Texas; she passed away on August 18, 2009, after 64 years of marriage.
Sarah J. Gass Hake, 69, of Decatur, died Monday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
Minnie A. McMichael, 83, formerly of Mendon, Ohio and a native of Willshire, Ohio, died Monday in The Laurels of Shane Hill, a nursing home near Rockford, Ohio.
She was born to George and Edna Clay Sharpe.
Among survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Sheryl) Ellis of Mendon, and two sons, Galen McMichael of Mendon (a former North Adams teacher) and Rudy McMichael of North Richland Hills, Texas.
Deborah Nussbaum, 60, a native of Berne, died Friday in Madiera Beach, Florida.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.

Becky Eicher, 35, of Carlisle, Kentucky, died on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
Born in rural Geneva on June 29, 1975, to Mervin and Elizabeth Christner Yoder, she was a homemaker and a member of Old Order Amish Church in Carlisle.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dena Eicher.
Edna "Maxine" Davidson, 80, of Bryant, died Thursday in Celina, Ohio.
She was born to J. Hoyt and Phaldelma Bennett Glassford.
Among survivors are two sons, Ed and Rob Davidson of Bryant, and three daughters, Mrs. Tom (Cindy) Piper of Celina, Sandra Sanders of Bryant, and Mrs. Curtis (Tracy) Johnson of Lynn, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, rural Bryant.
Gerhard Kiefer, 94, of Ossian, formerly of Decatur, passed away at 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2010, in Ossian Health Care.
He was born on October 23, 1916, in Adams County to Martin and Clara (Wietfeldt) Kiefer.
He married Hildegard Bultemeier on May 14, 1950, in St. John’s Lutheran Church at Bingen; she preceded him death on May 14, 2007.

Jimmy Kipp Blake, 23, of rural Decatur, passed away as the result of a single-car accident in Adams County on Saturday, December 4, 2010.
He was born on August 30, 1987, in Allen County to Cary J. and Amy E. (Geiger) Blake.
