December 22nd
Andres V. Villegas, 8, of Union City, Indiana, died Saturday in a traffic accident in Mercer County, Ohio, on the Indiana-Ohio state line road.
He was born to Pedro Vela of Matamoros in Tamaulipas State, Mexico, and Yessica Villegas of Union City, Indiana, who survive.
Other survivors are his twin brother, Pedro V. Villegas of Union City; one sister, Clarissa Vela of Union City; and many relatives in the Geneva area.
December 21st
Helen E. Glass, 87, formerly of Liberty Center in Wells County, died Sunday at Heritage Pointe Retirement Community.
She was born to Frank and Flora L. Osborn Ware.
Among survivors are two sons, Norman Glass of rural Berne and Ervin Glass of Fort Wayne, and one daughter, Mrs. Don (Karen) Hatch of Marion.
William S. Gravens, 82, of Decatur, died Monday in Roudebush Medical Center at Indianapolis.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
Alvin Hackman, 69, formerly of Decatur, died Monday at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

December 20th
Melissa J. “Missy” Baker, 34, of Ossian, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born on December 8, 1976, in Bluffton to the late “Jack” Harrison and Dorothy (Perry) Harrison.
She worked as a dental assistant at Decatur Dental Services.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and attended Life Community Church.
David Alpha Barkley, 83, of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
He was born on August 19, 1927, in Monroeville to Alpha Barkley and Florence (Foust) Barkley.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jovetta Barkley.
David was the owner and operator of Barkley Tires in Wears Valley, Tennessee, and attended Valley View Baptist Church.

Adeline S. Schwartz, 57, of rural Geneva, died Thursday at home.
She was born to Sam D. and Katie Graber, who are deceased.
Among survivors are her husband, Henry H.K. Schwartz; one daughter, Mrs. Cornelius (Sarah D.A.) Troyer of rural Geneva; and her stepmother, Wilma A. Graber of rural Norwood, New York.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday at her home, 1903 E. County Rd. 1000 South, with burial in Bunker Hill Cemetery, rural Geneva.

Sarah J. Hake, 69, of rural Decatur, died unexpectedly on Monday evening, December 13, 2010, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
Sarah was the daughter of William and Patricia (Holthouse) Gass. She was born on October 2, 1941 in Decatur, Indiana.
On August 12, 1961, she married Dale F. Hake.
Deborah Nussbaum, 60, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died December 10 at home.
She was born in Decatur on April 7, 1950, to Calvin and Henrietta Sprunger Nussbaum, who are deceased.
Among survivors are one son, Mitchel McGough of Littleton, Colorado, and two daughters, Audra Hedger of Plainfield, Indiana, and Cara Ferrin of St. Petersburg.
