As one festival winds down another one opens up in Adams County.
The final event of the Adams County 4-H fair, the livestock auction, is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. today at the fairgrounds in Monroe, then two hours later and just a few miles south, opening ceremonies will be held to kick off this year's edition of Swiss Days.
Tentative plans for the renovation of the newest physicians office building owned by the Adams Health Network (AHN) were revealed to the AHN Board of Trustees Wednesday night at their monthly meeting.

A water main break occurred in that area, but because the storm sewer was in such close proximity to the main, the water from the main began running into the sewer line, causing a portion of the pavement to collapse.
