June 25, 2013

"It was awesome, just a great day," Jeannie Adkison, chairperson for the 2013 Adams County Relay for Life, said Monday following this year's event.
This year's goal was $110,000, and by the closing ceremony, around $95,000 had been raised, Adkison said.
"We started the day around $65,000, so that (a boost of some $30,000 via the Relay) was great," she added. "And we have a few more events to go before the end of August (when this year's drive ends)."
