A Decatur man, Timothy E. Bowers, 32, died Sunday evening at Lutheran Hospital following a hunting accident Saturday afternoon.

He was said to be hunting with a friend but at the time of the accident was by himself. When he did not return to meet his friend at an arranged time, the friend, unidentified by IDNR officials, went looking for Bowers.
