Once again Dave Sholl of Schenkel & Schultz Architecture was in front of Adams County Council members on Tuesday — along with all three Adams County Commissioners and countless others eager to hear what this newest study would bring — to present a proposed project to house several county offices and both courts under one roof.
A private organization of local volunteers with a unified goal of alleviating child hunger throughout the North Adams school system gained public support on Tuesday when the school district's board of education agreed to provide a physical location to assist in those efforts.
The South Adams Schools Board once again tabled the matter of granting permission to The Bridge Community Church to use the school's auditorium and six classrooms from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Sunday, beginning September 9, for an extended length of time.
Prior to the regularly-scheduled meeting on Tuesday, board members met in a work session to discuss the matter. Board member Tony Mellencamp said, "Every question that came up resulted in 10 more questions."
