A total of 100 career wins and, more importantly, a 39-34 victory over Churubusco has Adams Central Coach Aaron McClure smiling after opening-night Sectional play at South Adams on Tuesday.
The victory, the 100th of McClure's coaching career, sends the Jets into a Friday night contest against the host Starfires.
About the 100th win, McClure, who is the middle school principal and a former science teacher, said he's enjoyed all 11 seasons and has had "a lot of fun."
