A Decatur man who pleaded guilty last week to the attempted rape of a mentally handicapped teen earlier this year was sentenced to 12 years in prison Thursday by Adams Circuit Court Judge Frederick A. Schurger.
According to Adams County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Harvey, Matthew C. Bodle, 30, who had previous convictions of theft and failure to appear, among others, had requested the judge sentence him to six years in prison followed by four years probation.
Adams Health Network (AHN) continues to show a bottom financial line that is in the black even though total operating revenue for the first 11 months of 2012 totaled $2,119,962 less than what had been budgeted for that same time period.
The key, that hospital officials noted to members of the AHN Board of Trustees at their monthly meeting Wednesday night, is that expenses are also significantly less than what had been expected, to the tune of $1,759,867.
