Adams County health officials have released information as they seek to make the public aware of sewage-disposal issues in the county.
Ernest R. "Dick" Tope, a former Decatur resident serving a life sentence for the 1974 murder of a Van Wert County, Ohio, teenager, has died in prison.
Tope, 58, died of lung cancer last week in Pendleton Correctional Facility in central Indiana, according to a report in Thursday's Van Wert Times-Bulletin.
